US Military Surplus Intermediate Cold Weather Sleeping Bag - Used

The US Army figured one thing out:  You need a layered sleep system to maintain comfort.  The intermediate bag by itself is good for colder nights but can be further improved with a liner bag and a bivvy over the outside to waterproof.
