I found multiple other sites that these are a wool/canvas blend. They are absolutely waterproof and can EASILY be waterproofed. So far I am in love with these and I am heavily recommending everyone I train with to use these. 

These heavy duty wool/canvas gaiters were made with quality in mind. They are approximately 15” tall with a drawstring top, 2 bands of elastic near the ankle, and a stirrup type adjustable vinyl strap for across the bottom of a boot. These gaiters seem to have some kind of waterproofing on the exterior, and ridged vinyl section for added ankle protection. Slip on style. One size fits most. Used condition, may show signs of warehouse storage.
