The MARPAT pattern uniforms were first issued to the USMC in 2002, replacing the M81 uniforms in use by both the Army and Marines at the time. Thus began the era of service specific BDUs.
A much more functional digital camouflage compared to the Army's ACU, MARPAT is still ugly as shiiiiit. On the flipside, the Marines still win Best Dressed with their dress uniform, can't deny that.
MARPAT uniforms will cause you to spontaneously shout oorah, and elicit oorahs from former Marines. Be advised.
All uniforms are used, some faded and frayed more than others. You get what you get. NO RETURNS OR REPLACEMENTS!
