German Military 100% Wool Blankets (Bundeseigentum)

The 'BUNDESEIGENTUM'. These all appear to 100% wool. Finding genuine European Military Surplus blankets is becoming harder and harder. I can not keep wool blankets in stock for the life of me.

Wool is a time proven, war proven, historically proven one of the most life saving and warm materials known to man. This is one of the only materials that can be 100% soaking wet, and still retain your body heat. I do not go anywhere without 2 of these in my vehicle, and one in my backpack everytime I plan on staying the night in the wet mountains of the Pacific Northwest. Measuring approximately 78”x82”

My experience with wools is almost exclusively USARMY wools, and I am extremely excited to start diving into the world of German wool, with my German heritage in mind. As well as these are higher quality, softer, and larger than the American versions.

Wool Blanket Factory Bruckmühl
In 1898, a mill at Heufeld became the Loden and Wolldeckenfabrik. A lively construction activity began on the site, the business flourished. Since 1913, the area has been called Bavarian Wool Blanket Factory Bruckmühl. The largest industrial company in the community developed; over 800 people found after the 2nd World War work there. The good development of the factory contributed decisively to the growth of Bruckmühl. In 1983, the plant had to be closed.
