These silkies are Unfathomly comfortable, and have now been used for gym use, ruck marches, pool swimming by out boy huckathy. We have already been using these for months and they are super comfortable. 

I would recommend buying a size larger than usual as they run a little small.

With a matching polyester/elastic waistband

Size chart:
Small: Waist size 28-32
Medium: Waist size 30-34
Large: Waist size 32-38
XL: Waist size 34-40

If you want a tighter and more form-fitting fit around your waist/thigh, order the smaller of the sizes you fit. If you want a looser fit around your waist/thigh, order the larger of the sizes you fit.
There is a generous amount of stretch in these silkies, so you will most likely fit a few sizes.
Choose whichever 'fit' you'd like most.
